Handmade knife with walnut handle

Regular price $50.00

The knife is made from mild steel that I got at Menards. I shaped and sharpened the steel using an angle grinder, bench grinder, and belt sander.

The handle is made of walnut wood found in our woods. It is pinned together with brass

The knife is meant for work outside or an all-around utility knife. It is a prototype for future knives. I plan to make 1 knife per month during 2021.

I am 12 and in the 6th grade. This is my first year of homeschooling, because of the pandemic.

I have recently made a backyard blacksmithing forge with a piece of old railroad track and a stump for my anvil. I am hoping to learn the ropes of medieval and modern blacksmithing and knife making during the pandemic.

I really like working with my hands. One of my favorite projects is a cabin I made with my cousins.
