Two Chamber Kiln

I designed and built this kiln in summer of 2010 with the help of many friends and family. The 31st and final firing was completed in April 2024. At the conclusion of the firing the kiln was dismantled in order salvage materials and prepare the kiln site for construction of a new wood burning kiln. The salvaged kiln brick were used to construct the chimney of my new kiln. A time lapse video of the firing of this kiln is available on my youtube channel.
